THE HEARACH
CROFT STRENGTH
EXCLUSIVE TO GLOBAL TRAVEL RETAIL
bring home the wild spirit of the Outer Hebrides
The Hearach Croft Strength is a robust, 52% ABV expression of the distillery’s flagship single malt scotch whisky.
Taking its name and inspiration from the small farm ‘crofts’ worked by the crofters of Harris – people who have lived in harmony with the harsh island elements for generations – this higher-strength release showcases the deeper complexities of the spirit.
Only available in UK duty-free outlets, our new dram offers a bolder taste of the island, crafted especially for those seeking something exclusive and deeply rooted in the elemental nature of Harris.
Launching 2nd July 2025 in global travel retail outlets at Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports, this special expression will also be available in more UK airports in the coming months shortly after.

ROBUST, ELEMENTAL, ENDURING
FOR a bolder taste of the island
Made using 100% Scottish barley and distilled with the softest Outer Hebridean water, the whisky is matured in a careful combination of ex-bourbon barrels and oloroso and fino sherry butts.
Lightly peated, non-chill filtered, and free from artificial colouring, The Hearach Croft Strength reveals a layered nose of soft smoke, caramel, poached fruits, and warming spices.
On the nose, there is smokiness with a rich depth of sweetness, notes of toffee and caramel. The fruity aromas start to develop with more robust notes of blackcurrant, apple sauce and poached pears. Heather, white spices and cloves appear, with a recognisable liquorice-ness.
On the palate, the dram is elemental but smooth with deeper spice and wood developing into green and fruit notes with an enduringly sweet and warming finish.
The extra strength lends itself well to spirit-forward whisky cocktails too...
